Today, American cars are challenged seriously by foreign cars. Although many people support that foreign cars shouldn’t restrict because they are better than American cars. In fact, selling foreign cars really hurts American economics. The United States should severely restrict the sales of foreign cars in the U.S. because it can help American economics, society.
Restrict foreign car selling can directly help our economics. Now, foreign cars stand big part of car markets, such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and BMW. More people like buying foreign cars, so money goes out of country. It finally causes trade deficit. American car companies continued to lose money and car markets, so restricting foreign car selling can protect our markets and most American car companies.
It helps our society be more stead. For example, Detroit is the biggest car city in the United States. Restricting foreign cars selling can protect Detroit car workers’ jobs. Can you imagine if most car workers lost their jobs in Detroit, what’s going to happen?
The city will be destroyed because of broke American car companies. The society value also can be ruined, so we have to protect our car workers’ jobs.
Thus, restrict the sales of foreign cars really can help our economics and society. We want to keep everyone’s job and keep everyone’s wallet.

from a story
Today, I just heard breaking story from my cow worker’s friend. We all got shocked because his story too big and too unbelievable. It is said that BP Company hire a lot of fisher boats and fishers to look for more spilled oil. You know how much they pay for them? It is about three thousand dollar for one day!! One almost broke fisher guy live again now because of those unbelievable pay checks.
The guy live for fishing and catching crabs before, but since last year, he found there is no crabs in his area where are full of crabs before, so he faced broke, and his fishing boat was free for four months until the spilling oil issue happened. Now, he strongly likes the mission which came from the BP because of the big daily pay checks.
It is sarcastic that many people lost a lot, but some people got a lot from the spilled oil. But after all the oil cleaned, what will happen to fishers? Who knows! Of course they still can’t get fish and crabs in their area because they have already broken the balance of their environment. It is same as oil spilled. Human continue to open up the nature resources, and the nature completely lost their balances, such as food chain, so where is our future?? there is somethings we have to do now!! you and me and everybody!!!

my life
I have been to the United States for 4 years from China. Now, I have adopted American life, so I always compare my American life and Chinese life. I like American, but I think my Chinese life is more fun, and relax.
In America, I feel very lonely because work is very important because money is extremely important. Everyone has to work. I can’t meet my friends often. The society is faster than Chinese society. We don’t have same schedule for day off, so it is very hard to spend time with my friends. Moreover, I can’t meet my girl friend even just twice a week because of our jobs. In contrast, in china, I hang out with my friends almost twice a week, and I can meet my girl friend every day. We had a lot of fun together, such as camping, play soccer and eating outside.
American life is full of pressures, such as living pressure and working pressure. As a resident, I have to pay my car, rent, and living expenses, so I have to work forty hours a week.but in China, i don't have spend any money on cars or rent because i don't need a car and I have a house there. I can’t take many classes in college because it costs too much. On my work, I always fear that my boss can fire me, so I try my best to work well. in contrast, in China, money is less important than America, so i didn't worry about it too much. There are many free services, such as free nine years education and free medical because it is a socielist country. In America,sometimes, they changed my schedule which I don’t like, but I have to follow the new one.
I think I will go back to china in 5 years because I really want to have my real life.

sushi
Sushi has already become a very popular good in the United States. A lot of people eat it in many Japanese restaurants, and now, they can easily buy it at many super markets, such as Publix and Kroger. People love sushi because it has two special good characteristics, healthy and artistic quality.
Sushi is very healthy food. There is no meat in any sushi rolls, and raw fish brings a lot of low fat nutrition to eaters. For example, if you eat raw yellowtail fish. It is same as you eat Omega 3. A lot of people who are on diet and don’t want to be hungry eat sushi. In addition, sushi rice is made with sushi vinegar which is also healthy food.

Different parts of fish have different features, so sushi chief can cut different parts of fish to make different sushi. is it too much?
“Hi! Could you work on Sunday night?” my boss asked to the new sushi chief who just got his job here. “Oh. No! I have to go to church on Sunday.” He answered. And then, my boss was looking at me for 2 minutes, I knew his means, and I have same thought as his. I continued to ask him, “Why?” “God needs me on Sunday!” he said. “God needs me too! But he wants me to work and contribute to the society, and he said your work place needs you!” I said.
You may feel unusual, but it happens. I respect to every religion, but it is too much! I don’t know why people believe god, and they must go to church every Sunday. It is two completely different events. Now, a lot of people go to church every week, but I think some church just guide people to a wrong way or they want to tie more and more people in their church. It is not a business because it is pure religion. I don’t know what happened to my work partner, but I seriously think something wrong.
“If everybody goes to church every Sunday, every store and restaurant should close right?” I said to my cow worker. “Yes!” he said. My boss and I laughed.

Now, the World Cup starts. Most of people in all over the world watch, and care the games because they love soccer, and they care their own countries’ performance in the World Cup. It is a soccer party in every four years, so the World Cup has already become the most important cup game in the world.
After Olympic in 1928, FIFA decided have a game which calls “World Championship” in every four years because it can prove the development of soccer. In 1956, it changed to “Jules Rimet Cup”. Later, it became the World Cup. World cup was the special price from 1928 FIFA for the winner. It was casted by a famous jewelry technician, Fu Liee, a French man. The cup for the mobile prizes, who won a championship, can save the Gold Cup four years, to return before the next Cup, FIFA, for the grant of a new world champion. In addition, the team who has three times world champion can own the cup forever. In 1971, the cup design changed. It designed by an Italian, Gazania. It symbolizes the power and scale of sports because it’s two Hercules holding the earth design. Finally, it had a new name “Titan Cup”. The cup 36 cm high and weighing 5 kg, was worth 20,000 U.S. dollars at that time.

Finally round includes 32 national teams. 13 teams are from Europe, 4 from Asia, 3 from North and Middle America, 5.5 from South America, 0.5 from Oceania, 6 from Africa. critical thinking
How many people think North Korea is a bad country? How many people think China is an enemy country which is challenging the United States? How many American people support the opinion about “free Tibet”? Answer is a lot of American people. Do they really know these countries? Or they really know other countries’ issues? The answer is no. Some people who say everybody should support Tibet of freedom don’t know where Tibet is at all. These sounds fanny, but it really reflects power of media, so having critical thinking is very important.
People watch TV and get online every day, so media’s opinions lead or change the public. Most people strongly believe that, and they always loose critical thinking of news. How many people think CNN has strong bias of news? A lot of people just follow and believe what mass media want them to believe. For example, Chinese “birth control”, many American people argue that, but they don’t know if China doesn’t do that, and many live people will die by hanger. it is a challenge for human rights, but if people died, where and how people can have human rights.
Critical thinking is important because people should correctly think and believe what they get information.
