Modern technology develops very fast today. Such as car, computer, and family equipment change or upgrade every year. A lot of people really enjoy it because modern technology brings many convenience advantages to them. But modern technology can produce more inconvenience than convenience in our daily life, school life, especially elders’ life.
In our daily life, a lot of people drive modern technology cars. Like Lexus, Mercedes, and BMW. These cars have very high technology system, such as security system, but a lot of inconvenience problem come from that and drive people crazy. For example, if a car owner lost his only key, the high technology car will automatically shut down the inside system, so owner can’t open it easily. The owner has to call car dealer for help, and they will send a mechanic to help him. It takes too long, and the car owner has to wait for all troubles fixed.
In school, many courses are high tech classes, so computer is the necessary study tool for every student, and some classes professor require their students using high technology computer program to do some projects, such as calculus. For example, a program is called “Mathmatica” really confused me to finish my calculus project, so I got a “B” in my final grade.
In elders’ lives, modern technology confuses them all the time. Many elders can’t learn to use computer, special tool, and some equipment, so they can’t live very well. It makes old people think they are out of the society. For example, many elders don’t know how to use check out machine, so they have to call another for help.
We live in a modern technology society now. It gives us a lot of convenience and save more time for us, but it can produce more inconvenience also in our daily lives, school life, and elders’ life.
