Now, the World Cup starts. Most of people in all over the world watch, and care the games because they love soccer, and they care their own countries’ performance in the World Cup. It is a soccer party in every four years, so the World Cup has already become the most important cup game in the world.
After Olympic in 1928, FIFA decided have a game which calls “World Championship” in every four years because it can prove the development of soccer. In 1956, it changed to “Jules Rimet Cup”. Later, it became the World Cup. World cup was the special price from 1928 FIFA for the winner. It was casted by a famous jewelry technician, Fu Liee, a French man. The cup for the mobile prizes, who won a championship, can save the Gold Cup four years, to return before the next Cup, FIFA, for the grant of a new world champion. In addition, the team who has three times world champion can own the cup forever. In 1971, the cup design changed. It designed by an Italian, Gazania. It symbolizes the power and scale of sports because it’s two Hercules holding the earth design. Finally, it had a new name “Titan Cup”. The cup 36 cm high and weighing 5 kg, was worth 20,000 U.S. dollars at that time.
Now, the World Cup is the most important cup for soccer. Finally round includes 32 national teams. 13 teams are from Europe, 4 from Asia, 3 from North and Middle America, 5.5 from South America, 0.5 from Oceania, 6 from Africa. Every country will try the best to get the cup because it symbolizes the highest soccer glory. Brazil had 5 times champions, and Italia had 4, Germany had 3. They all are the best world cup team in the history.

This is very informative! I used to not like soccer because I thought it was long and drawn out, but now I realize it is that way because it is a very difficult sport that requires extreme conditioning and skill. I now watch it and appreciate it.
